Kate Middleton wants the royal fashion spotlight back on her, and she has a new stylist on her team to help her out. According to a new report, Middleton has stepped up her fashion game in recent days because of her friend and new stylist, Virginia Chadwyck-Healey.
Radar Online is reporting that Chadwyck-Healey worked as a fashion editor at Vogue Magazine for twelve years, and Middleton recruited her to help her outshine Meghan Markle after she married Prince Harry last May. Middleton’s regular stylist, Natasha Archer, is currently on maternity leave.

Today The Queen, accompanied by The Duchess of Cambridge, visited King's College London to officially open Bush House, the latest education and learning facilities on the Strand Campus. The Queen and The Duchess viewed a robotics demonstration — including robotic surgery — and a demo showing how sensors made from textiles can measure useful information about the body. They also visited King’s virtual trading floor at the Entrepreneurship Institute, which supports entrepreneurial thinking, skills and experiences among Kings’ students, staff and alumni. 📷PA/Royal Communications
Chadwyck-Healey, AKA Ginnie, and her husband, Oliver, attended St. Andrews University with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Ginnie and Oliver were guests at Kate and William’s 2011 wedding at Westminster Abbey, where Ginnie wore a watermelon pink skirt and pink silk top from Emilia Wickstead.
“To my great surprise, I found myself included in the fashion reviews as one of the ‘best-dressed wedding guests,’” Ginnie said.
Since announcing her pregnancy, Markle has rocked a variety of maternity looks that all together cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. Many of her outfits have sold out in stores and online within hours of being photographed.
But, just because she has a style many women want to copy, it doesn’t mean Markle makes all of her own fashion choices.
According to Fox News, Markle requested to wear a jeweled tiara from the Royal Collection for a state dinner in Fiji last October, but Prince Charles said no because he didn’t want his daughter-in-law to appear “extravagant.”
However, the same night, at a state banquet at Buckingham Palace, Middleton wore a diamond and pearl tiara previously owned by Princess Diana.
“Meghan did not understand all of this because she was new to the role and so Prince Charles told her that it would not be appropriate,” an insider said. “It was very kindly done.”

Housing is a critical issue in Blackpool — The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Kirby Road to see the realities of the town’s housing problems and the significant work under way to resolve these. After seeing an example of poorly maintained ex-boarding house, The Duke and Duchess visited Christina Jackson in a similar house across the road which was purchased and upgraded by My Blackpool Home. Christina’s home was renovated in 2018 under Blackpool Council's investment and refurbishment scheme — in total around 50 bedsits in the area have now become 13 good quality homes for families. #RoyalVisitBlackpool
The source says that Prince Charles advised Markle not to wear the tiara in Fiji because of the country’s low socioeconomic status compared to the wealth of the royal family.
Queen Elizabeth reportedly denied Markle’s request to wear an emerald tiara at her wedding because the jewels couldn’t be traced. Instead, the monarch lent the Suits actress a diamond and platinum tiara from her personal collection.
Kate Middleton has not commented on the rumors surrounding she hopes to outshine Meghan Markle.
