There have been rumors that Karlie Kloss and Taylor Swift haven’t been friends for the longest time. According to reports, Kloss finally came out and addressed the speculation when she said, “don’t believe everything you read.”
Back in August, speculation continued following the release of Taylor’s video for “Look What You Made Me Do.” Despite the fact that the song is not very good, it generated a fair amount of publicity, mostly in the tabloids.
The reason for the attention is that, during the video, Taylor can be seen wearing a t-shirt with the name of all of her fans on it. Because of this, fans assumed she and Swift were no longer friends, especially considering they haven’t been photographed publicly together since 2016.
An insider who spoke with E! News said they’re “still good friends,” and didn’t have a bad breakup. They’ve just been busy and haven’t appeared arm-in-arm in public.
Just a few months ago in December of 2017, Kloss wrote a “happy birthday”-message for Taylor on Instagram along with a photograph of the pair.
Moreover, when Kloss spoke with journalists from The New York Times, she said they’re still friends and “talk frequently.” During the interview – as it was noted at the beginning of the article – she said, “don’t believe everything you read.”
In January, rumors started again when a video of Kloss wearing a “Swish Swish” t-shirt surfaced online, supposedly hinting she was on “Team-Perry.”
As it was previously reported, Taylor and Katy have duked it out in the press for the last two years. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Swift claimed Katy said something cruel to her one evening
However, she didn’t reveal the name of the person. Either way, fans have wanted to know the status of their relationship for quite some time. Interestingly enough, fans aren’t the only ones. Jennifer Lawrence wanted to know what happened between Kloss and Swift too. She said, “is nobody else curious? It’s keeping me up at night. What happened?”
