Kanye West is making heads turn again. His newest song, “XTCY,” was released by DJ Clark Kent through Twitter yesterday, Saturday, and in it, the lyrics featured a number of different shocking comments.
In the track, Kanye writes, “You got sick thoughts? I got more of ’em / You got a sister-in-law you’d smash? / I got four of ’em.” The cover art of the new song features a photo of the family of women, including one at Jenner’s birthday party on Friday.
The new song comes just a few days after his appearence on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where he dished on political issues as well as the reviled president, Donald Trump.
Kanye got himself into trouble back in May after he tweeted his support of the president and also rocked a “Make America Great Again” hat.
As fans of the rapper are well aware of, Kanye loves to make bizarre declarations in real life, as well as on social media, and his latest comments on Kim’s sisters are just one of them.
However, admittedly, ‘Ye has made wild contributions to North American culture, as well as the culture of the world. Some of his lesser known feats include talking about mental health and suicide.
According to a report from Nick Markus, Kanye felt inspired to talk honestly about his experiences battling mental issues after he watched Alexander McQueen’s documentary one evening.
Alexander was a fashion designer who killed himself in 2010. Mr. McQueen was found dead due to suicide by asphyxiation.
In one tweet, Kanye had some advice for his fans and followers, he said the best way to avoid feeling like suicide is an option is to “avoid being around people who make you want to kill yourself” – true words to live by. Mr. West has been more visible in the last few months due to the release of his latest album, Ye.
