A mental health talk Kanye West was supposed to unfold during this week with the New York Times’ TimesTalks, and it seems that it has been canceled, according to Page Six. It happened following his visit at the White House where the rapper met with President Donald Trump.
Kanye was supposed to take part in a discussion about anxiety and success with Charlamagne Tha God and Jon Caramanica tomorrow.
Charlamagne posted on the news on Instagram yesterday, October 15th, and posted, ‘Normalizing being mentally healthy is a conversation that I really wanted to have with Kanye because he’s been so vocal about his own mental health struggles.’

"Normalizing being mentally healthy is a conversation that I really wanted to have with Kanye because he's been so vocal about his own mental health struggles. Unfortunately I think to have that conversation with him right now would not be productive and a total distraction from the point of the convo which is to eradicate the stigma of mental health especially in the black community."- ME.
He continued and explained that ‘Unfortunately, I think to have that conversation with him right now would not be productive and a total distraction from the point of the convo which is to eradicate the stigma of mental health especially in the black community.’
People agreed and a lot of them slammed Kanye. For instance, someone posted the following harsh words:
‘That man is garbage because he wants to be. Yes, he has mental health challenges. But mentally ill people can be garbage, too. It doesn’t excuse everything. We should have stopped paying attention to him and buying the crap he puts out a long time ago. He wouldn’t have this much of a platform now. It’s ok to walk away from toxic people. Including artists.’
If you had no idea, just recently Charlamagne Tha God spoke about Kanye and Kim Kardashian as a couple.
He reportedly doesn’t know what’s really going on between Kanye and Kim that doesn’t stop him from thinking their marriage is likely doomed.
Us Weekly caught up with the commentator and host in Queens, New York, on the 13th of October, Charlamagne spoke about his feelings regarding the infamous celebrity couple and basically what he said was that they would not last because they have different energies.
