It seems that Kanye West has decided to address the heated Internet beef that is going on between Drake and Pusha T.
For the past week, social media has been on fire because of several diss tracks released by the two rappers who have been going at it since 2012.
It all started with Pusha T who dropped a song called “Infrared” where he claimed that Drake was using ghostwriters.
Drake hit back with “Duppy Freestyle” and labeled him a drug dealer and mentioned his fiance’s name in it. What followed was a complete obliteration of Drake.
Pusha T released a song called “The Story of Adidon” where he revealed to the world that Drake has a son named Adonis with former French porn star Sophie Brussaux. He called Drake a deadbeat dad and dropped a few other insults.
Kanye, who produced Pusha T’s album and took the decision to use a picture from Whitney Houston’s hotel room as the cover, has opted to weigh in on the feud late Friday night.
He took to social media where he had this to say: “I’ve never been about beef I’m about love lines were crossed and it’s not good for anyone, so this is dead now.”
There was a time when whatever Kanye said mattered to many music lovers. However, since he embraced of President Donald Trump and made controversial slavery comments, it seems that people have turned their backs on him.
Here is a reaction from an ex-fan bashing Kim Kardashian’s husband: “Isn’t it amazing how hypnotic “Celebrity” Can be? That’s the 1 thing I will give Kanye credit 4. He realized said fact early in his career & he’s been using it to his advantage ever since. He can overcharge folks 4 rags (They’ll Buy It) Call his self Yezus (They’ll follow) Say the most offensive & nonsensical things (They’ll defend it ) all the while – he mocks that loyalty. And damn near kills himself 2 be excepted by those who do none of that… #Twisted… So no not the entire… Just those who aren’t caught up in his “image.”
A supporter shared: “Did Beyoncé have a better video than Swift? She did. Did jay z not slime ye? He did. Did slaves not believe they were slaves when Tubman tried to free them? They did. Wasn’t Kanye wrong about anything he said? He wasn’t. Like he said it’s dead now, so it’s dead.”
What are your thoughts on this matter?
