For a while it seemed like Jay Z and Kanye West would be close friends for a very long time but even the tightest of brotherhoods doesn’t always resist the test of time.
Their relationship was like out of a Hollywood movie. Kanye was just starting out his career as a rapper when he mentioned that Jay Z had been an inspiration for him, an example when it comes not only to music but also his demeanor in public.
On the other hand, Jay Z noticed Kanye’s potential as a producer and his creative flow when writing his rap lyrics. When the two finally met, the talk about a possible collaboration took place and so the two hugely appreciated rappers started working together and even became more than just business partners, they became like brothers.
The rappers became even closer when they brought their families into it. Kanye started by introducing his reality TV queen wife, at the time – fiancée, to the queen of American music, Beyonce. The two women seemed to immediately click together just like their partners did. It was a powerful families match made in heaven and the fans rejoiced at the historic moment.
What happened afterwards was the beginning of the end. Kanye’s antics, like the MTV Music Awards incident with Taylor Swift that we all still remember, would slowly compromise the friendship between the two families.
Although he eventually apologized to Taylor and some felt like he was on the path towards change, his recent song “B*tch I Made You Famous” was undeniably another direct attack towards Taylor Swift.
It seems like the Jay Z – Beyonce couple became annoyed with Kanye’s crazy behavior and the friendship started getting cold. In July of this year Kanye became upset himself with the Apple and Jay Z’s lack of communication about their issue. And even just last week Kanye make headlines once again with his rant about their children not even playing together.
