The beloved TV show is coming to an end, and it looks like the fans are not the only ones sad about it – the stars are too! Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco is well aware nothing lasts forever, but that doesn’t mean she is not affected.
That being said, the actress who plays Penny took to social media to share her thoughts on the matter.
Just hours earlier, CBS had announced that The Big Bang Theory’s 12th season is also its very last.
Kaley posted a photo with the cast on Instagram, captioning it: ‘This ride’s been a dream come true and as life-changing, as it gets. No matter when it was going to end, my heart would’ve always been broken in two. Drowning in tears, we promise to bring you the very best season yet.’
She went on: ‘To the fans, the crew, our families, Chuck Lorre, Warner Brothers, CBS, and everybody who has supported us for so many years, thank you. We are going out with a bang ? @bigbangtheory_cbs.’

The long-running show’s last episode will be airing in May of 2019.
The other stars, including Jim Parsons, Simon Helberg, Johnny Galecki, Kunal Nayyar, Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch have not at this time addressed the news about their comedy show ending next year.
Back in March, the cast was in attendance at PaleyFest where they talked to ET, admitting the show’s future was yet to be decided.
Cuoco however, remained hopeful The Big Bang Theory would go on for a longer time.
‘I love being a part of the show, and I think it’d be really stupid to say no. There’s just nothing better. Season 13 does sound kind of cool.’
