Now that Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have announced their split, fans have one question: will the Friends actress get back together with her first husband, Brad Pitt? A source close to the couple says that Theroux was always insecure about Aniston’s relationship with the Ocean’s Eleven star, but did his insecurities have any merit?
Theroux had every right to be doubtful about Aniston and Pitt. An insider claims that the two never really stopped talking after their divorce, and now that they are both single, they are talking non-stop.
This week, Aniston turned 49, and she celebrated with her friends instead of Theroux because of her intense talks with Pitt. He decided to ditch Aniston and headed to his apartment in New York – essentially forcing her to spend her birthday with pals instead of him.
“While celebrating with her friends, she was an emotional train wreck and she called him while she was with her friends still,” revealed the insider.
But, it was just too late. Theroux reportedly believes that it is only a matter of time before Pitt and Aniston reconcile and get back together.

Social media is flooded with speculation about the former couple and wondering what her next move will be. One Twitter user declared that Aniston must be currently crafting her “let’s grab coffee and catch up” text to Pitt.
Several fans are excited about the prospect of Pitt and Aniston getting back together, while others grieved the end of her marriage to Theroux.
There were even some who were flat-out opposed to the idea of Pitt and Aniston 2.0, reminding everyone of how well Aniston has done since the end of her marriage to Pitt in 2005.
It seems that Aniston and Theroux were opposites from day one of their relationship. The two met on the set of the 2012 comedy Wanderlust, and by August they were engaged.
But, they are two completely different people, and their differing personalities and interests put a strain on their relationship.

After a three-year engagement, the couple married in August 2015, but they often spent a lot of time apart due to their work schedules. Aniston also had a strong desire to live in her mansion in Los Angeles, while Theroux always preferred life in New York.
The two constantly compromised and did their own thing, and as their relationship progressed, Aniston’s sense of independence increased. She got more confident and self-assured and pursued her own interests and goals.
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux announced their split earlier this week in a joint statement but said that they will remain friends and are determined to maintain the deep respect and love that they have for one another.
