Last month, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin went to the New York City Marriage Bureau and allegedly tied the knot after being engaged for just two months. Now, the 24-year-old pop singer has rented a huge Los Angeles mansion in Toluca Lake that is costing him almost $100,000 a month in rent, and all of this eyebrow-raising behavior is starting to make his friends wonder if Bieber is having an identity crisis.
In addition to his quickie wedding and his new expensive rental, the singer was spotted in Tribeca back in August looking disoriented as he shopped shirtless, and later on the same day, he was crying on the West Side Highway bike path.
And, just one week after marrying Baldwin, the couple visited London, and Bieber played music for free outside of Buckingham Palace. But, the odd behavior doesn’t stop there. A video recently surfaced online showing Bieber acting jittery and shaking when he was meeting fans in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

In recent years, the Sorry singer has attempted to distance himself from living a fast, crazy life. Back in 2013, he had a series of public blunders that included a brothel visit in Rio de Janeiro, drug confiscation on his tour bus in Sweden, and a DUI arrest.
But then, Bieber found religion and joined Hillsong, an Evangelical megachurch that has 9,000 members and gives concert-like services. By December 2017, Bieber was sharing with fans how much he had changed.
“Jesus is changing me from the inside out every day!” he wrote on Instagram.
But, according to sources at Page Six, Bieber’s friends are worried that something has changed in the past few months, and his recent erratic behavior is a sign that he is becoming unhinged again.
Bieber’s longtime manager, Scooter Braun, recently revealed that things got so bad for the singer back in 2013 and 2014 that he thought Bieber might die. Braun said on The Red Pill podcast that he thought Bieber would go to sleep one night but wouldn’t wake up the next morning because he had “so much crap in his system.”
Braun added that there was a time when he would go to sleep at night always worried that he would lose Bieber. But, the singer ended up getting clean and healthy when he started attending church, and last summer he canceled his Purpose World Tour because he wanted to learn and grow from his mistakes.
But, it looks like Bieber’s past still haunts him. He has said he would no longer take pics with fans because he feels like a “zoo animal.” He also walked offstage in Manchester, England, because concertgoers wouldn’t stop screaming. And, in May he begged fans in New Jersey to put down their phones and be normal.
Justin Bieber used to celebrate his stardom, but now it looks like he is resisting his fame. And, an insider says that at this point, Bieber “has an ongoing identity crisis.”
