Former Fox News anchor, Juliet Huddy, claims that the President of the United States, Donald Trump, tried to kiss her during a meeting back in 2005. The 48-year-old television personality appeared on the Morning Show With Bill Schulz on the 8th of December, Friday, and revealed that Trump invited her to meet on the set of The Apprentice once.
Trump, who hosted the wildly successful The Apprentice during this time, was also married to Melania as well. Juliet said that he “took me for lunch at the Trump Tower” when it was just the two of them.
Huddy said, when they parted ways, he leaned in to kiss her on the lips rather than the cheek like she expected. Juliet said she “wasn’t offended,” but it was a surprise.
The Fox News host continued, “everything was copacetic after that.” Additionally, the host wanted to clarify that she didn’t feel “threatened” it was just a surprise.
Years later, Trump allegedly joked about the incident. He said to the producers on the set of the show that he “tried hitting on her but she blew me off” while laughing to himself.
As you may know, coincidentally, Huddy was one of the women to file a complaint against Bill O’Reilly for “inappropriate behavior,” and Trump expressed support for the former Fox anchor.
Trump said, “when all that stuff came out about Bill O’Reilly,” he didn’t believe it had happened. In response, Huddy felt offended by this.
She claimed Trump knew that she wasn’t a liar, so she thought, “f*ck you.” Just as a recap, Bill lost his job due to allegations of sexual harassment earlier in the year shortly after the CEO of Fox, Roger Ailes, resigned for similar reasons.
