As part of her Christmas celebration, Anna Duggar posted a sweet photo of her constantly growing family – and haters immediately ripped her a new one. Because of her husband’s 2015 sex scandals, the mother of five has been through a lot over the past couple of years. But, the reality star quickly found out that her fans are still angry about her choice to stay with him, and they let her know every chance they get.
Mommyish reports that the 29-year-old captioned her holiday post with “Merry CHRISTmas!” to emphasize her love of Christ, but this only fueled the trolls.
“How can you all proclaim to be followers of Christ yet turn a blind eye to Josh’s horrific Child molestation?” one follower posted. “I never even heard him apologize.”
By now, members of the Duggar family are used to having their faith thrown in their faces, especially when it contradicts their actions, and this could be one of the reasons why Anna has chosen to be quiet on social media since her husband’s scandals.
But, not everyone chose to be mean, with some simply questioning her decision to stay with Josh, a known predator. One follower commented that if he can cheat in secret and molest his sisters, there is nothing keeping him from going after his own children. Then they gave her some advice: protect your kids and leave.

Many fans have expressed their concerns about Josh living with his five children, but the couple says they continue to work on their marriage and he is recovering from his “sex addiction” after leaving rehab.
According to People Magazine, they welcomed their first child since the scandal, Mason Garrett, back in September, and when they announced his arrival in a blog post, they wrote that rebuilding a life together is done one day at a time.
The couple has been married for nine years and has four other children – Mackynzie, 7, Michael, 6, Marcus 4, and Meredith, 2.
While Josh was in rehab at the Christian-based program Reformers Unanimous, Anna visited him regularly, and she said she was grateful for the ministry. The Daily Mail reported that the couple returned to North Baptist United Church in Illinois just before she gave birth to Mason, to see a Patch the Pirate show at the same facility where he received treatment.

Patch the Pirate is a musical show that teaches children Christian values. Other family members joined the couple to see the show, including Josh’s dad Jim Bob, and his brothers, John David, Justin, and Josiah. Two of their kids, Mackynzie and Michael, also saw the show.
Anna seems to be doing everything she can to get past the scandals that nearly tore her family apart, even though, so many people question why she decided to stay with her cheating husband. She comes from a family who are stricter than the Duggars, and divorce was simply not an option.
According to In Touch Weekly, she blamed herself for Josh’s wandering eye and taking the kids and leaving was never really a thought.
Anna Duggar has not spoken publicly about her decision to stay with Josh Duggar after his sexual assault and cheating scandal.
