The Josh Duggar molestation and cheating scandals broke over two years ago, but Counting On fans are not quick to forget the incidents that threatened the family’s wholesome reputation. The Duggars have made a comeback, sans Josh, and have gotten their ratings back up almost to where they used to be when 19 Kids & Counting was on the air.
However, could the reason the family has kept him out of the current series be because he continues his questionable behavior?
An anonymous insider has been commenting on Duggar social media pages that the family is helping their oldest son stay out of trouble by finding him willing “volunteers” from their church congregation to have sex with.
If this has any truth to it, his parents may be more involved with this scandal than originally thought.

Josh has had zero media presence lately, and TLC even went as far as to edit him out of scenes he accidentally showed up in during Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth’s wedding.
Instead, he spends his days working at one of the family’s car lots or at home with his wife, Anna, and their five children.
Or, is that just the story the family has fed the public for the past two years? Could he have really suppressed his darker side, or would the Duggars resort to such methods to help keep their son’s demons at bay?
They haven’t shunned Josh and his family. Recently he has appeared in family photos, including their most recent Christmas pic that oddly seemed to take place last summer. In the photo, Josh’s fifth child is nowhere to be seen, which means they probably took the pic before September.
Also, the family seems to be hiding Joy-Anna’s baby bump, which has appeared larger than expected for someone who conceived a baby in late May.
Josh’s scandal has hurt the Duggar’s hard financially. Since the molestation and cheating news broke, TLC didn’t just cancel 19 Kids & Counting, but completely took it off the air, meaning Jim Bob and Michelle no longer receive royalty checks from reruns.
The TV money is officially no longer coming in, except for what the older children receive for Counting On, and that means the Duggar parents must rely on their income from real estate.
Their net worth is estimated to be around $3.6 million, which is an impressive sum unless you still have a dozen children at home to raise.
Josh Duggar has not commented on the infidelity rumors.
