Jonah Hill Didn’t Want To Miss Out On Kanye West’s Listening Party

During an appearence on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday night, July 17th, Jonah Hill talked about what it was like to hang out with Kanye West for his listening party in Wyoming in June. The Yeezy creator just dropped his latest album last month.
According to Jonah, he didn’t realize that he would get in so much trouble for supporting the rapper but later found out Kanye embroiled himself in a predicament with TMZ.
Jonah said his sister, Beanie Feldstein, didn’t talk to him for a week because Kanye wore a MAGA hat. Hill remarked, “It just felt like a bad Andy Kaufman swing and a miss.”
Jonah isn’t the type of guy to bail on someone right away, even if they do something controversial or stupid. The actor said, “this guy’s given me so much. He’s my guy.”
During the interview, Jonah also talked about his new tattoos, meeting up with Jimmy and Tony Romo while at a restaurant, and also the chance of winning an Oscar. Jonah recently acted in Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Very Far On Foot.
As it was previously reported, back in June, Kanye West was at the center of a media firestorm for supporting Donald Trump on Twitter. The rapper wore a red “Make America Great Again” hat, and the fallout was swift.
Kanye referred to Donald as having “dragon energy,” like himself, and wondered why no one could speak their mind about a controversial issue, rather than tow the party line.
Other entertainers like Chance The Rapper defended Kanye and said that “Black people don’t have to be Republicans.” However, he later rescinded that tweet.
Additionally, TI defended West on Twitter, but they later released a track together called, “Ye Versus The People.” Clearly, TI knew what was up all along. In the song, Kanye addressed the controversy and talked about how people are encouraged not to think for themselves.
