It sounds like the man got his wish to spend the winter holidays with his son Collin, 14, after he reportedly won custody of him! That being said, Kate reportedly did not show up in court, so it was an easier fight than expected.
According to an insider report by RADAR, when the teen boy leaves the treatment center he’s been at for years, he can go live with his dad and sister Hannah while the rest of Jon and Kate’s eight kids continue to live with their mom.
That being said, Jon Gosselin was granted temporary custody of the boy, today, December 4!
Jon had to show up to the Reading, Pennsylvania court at around 9 A.M. and he did not miss it!
The insider shared with the outlet that was wearing a black suit and that ‘He looked really serious but calm. He seemed like he had one thing on his mind only: to get custody of Collin.’
Sure enough, he got his wish as, after about an hour, he left the courtroom looking really happy.
As for Kate, she was apparently not there. In fact, she previously attempted to postpone the court date, but her request was denied.
Their daughter Hannah has already been living with Jon full time, and a source previously shared with HollywoodLife that he was confident he’d win custody of Collin as well.
‘Jon has been visiting Collin consistently at his live-in school. He has been incredibly dedicated to his son. His efforts have really paid off because when Collin was home for a weekend visit, there was clearly a strong bond between the father and son. Jon, Collin and Hannah make a great little family unit.’
