We have less than a month to go until John David Duggar ties the knot with Abbie Burnett. The Counting On stars are set to exchange vows at the beginning of November in her home state of Oklahoma. With the ceremony only weeks away, here is everything we know about the Duggar family’s next wedding.
If everything goes as planned, this will be the first wedding in the Duggar family that is held outside of the state of Arkansas. Although the Duggars usually put on extravagant weddings that attract visitors from all over the country, John David and Abbie are keeping things simple. The two have only invited a small number of friends and family to the wedding, which is expected to be a small affair.

The two have also stirred up a little controversy over their gift registry. According OK Magazine, John David and Abbie are registered at places like Bed, Bath and Beyond, and Amazon, and requested a few items not usually seen in the Duggar family inventory. This includes a $130 trash can and a box of trash liners that cost upwards of $23 a box.
John David and Abbie started courting back in June. John David popped the big question a month later and the two have been stretching the family rules ever since they made things official.
Not only have they gone on unsupervised dates, but they also give each other frontal hugs instead of side hugs. As fans are well aware, the Duggars enforce strict rules when it comes to dating and they are not allowed to give frontal hugs until they are married.
The couple has also documented their romance on social media, which is another thing you normally don’t see from the Duggars. With the two willing to bend their family’s strict rules, there is no telling how they’re wedding will turn out.
John David Duggar and Abbie Grace Burnett are scheduled to tie the knot on Nov. 3.
New episodes of Counting On will hopefully return to TLC in 2019.
