Joe Budden and Cyn Santana are coming back to the set of Love And Hip-Hop: New York, after stepping away from the popular reality series for approximately four years.
According to a report from Variety, Joe and Cyn, who’ve been together for several years and share a baby together, are joining the Vh1 reality show for its ninth season.
Despite the fact they both starred on L&HH around the same time, Budden and Santana never spoke to each other during filming. They met sometime after.
Joe and Santana both had roles in the fourth season back in 2014, but they never were on screen together, and their respective story-lines weren’t related.
Fans of the rapper and podcaster will remember that Joe’s storyline revolved around his efforts to stay clean following 12 years of sobriety, and his relapse in 2012.
Due to his failure to stay sober, Joe’s longtime ex-girlfriend, Tahiry Jose, denied his proposal for marriage. Regarding Santana, she is known for her tumultuous relationship with Erica Mena.
Erica is a new addition to Love And Hip Hop: Atlanta, and is a fairly popular character. In addition to Budden and Santana joining the cast, other stars to make appearances include Kimbella, Juju, Yandy Smith, and Remy Ma.
Nevertheless, Love and Hip Hop has fostered a solid reputation for itself as one of the most popular reality shows, having big stars on their line-up, including Cardi B, who went on to become the hottest rap star in 2017 and 2018.
And, as it was mentioned above, L&HH will feature Remy Ma, who feuded with Nicki Minaj, due to the latter attempting to blackball Ma’s career. Lately, Nicki has taken heat for supposedly trying to do the same thing to Cardi B, an allegation backed up by Tiffany Foxx, another victim of Nicki’s alleged strong-arming tactics.
