‘Jersey Shore’ Star Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino Will Marry Lauren Pesce On November 1

Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino will be marrying his longtime girlfriend before he heads to prison. The announcement comes a week after the “Jersey Shore” star was sentenced to eight months behind bars for tax fraud.
The MTV took to Instagram to upload a throwback photo of him and Lauren Pesce alongside a caption that read: “#Thehitchuation is happening November 1st, 2018. I will be marrying @lauren_pesce My rock , my best friend, my better half & my soul mate . You are my everything & I am so excited to call you Mrs Situation ? #gymtanlaurens.”
The reality star is expected wed Lauren during filming of “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” with his castmates and loved ones by his side.
Mike and his older brother, Marc Sorrentino, were indicted in 2014 but weren’t handed their fate until October 5 due to multiple work extensions.
In addition to serving time, The Sitch has to pay a $10,000 fine and complete 500 hours of community service work.
Sorrentino’s attorneys were disappointed in the punishment because of the fact that the 36-year-old has completely turned his life around. In addition to abstaining from drugs and alcohol, Mike volunteered at a New Jersey sober house.
A little jail time isn’t going to stop Lauren from having the wedding of her dreams. She has been his rock throughout his struggle with sobriety and the multi-year legal ordeal.
In April, Lauren spoke to people about her relationship: “When I met Mike, I met him as a person and not as a celebrity. So I’ve always known him at his core — him being the most giving and loving family-type of guy in his soul. And through any kind of ups and downs, any kind of darkness that he went through, I always knew that person inside was so important and worth fighting for. I always wanted him to see how special he is so that he would be willing to fight for himself.”
The nuptials are set for November 1. However, it is unknown when the MTV personality has to surrender to authorities.
