Last month, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Jenni “JWoww” Farley filed for divorce from her husband of three years, Roger Mathews. But, even though he says he will fight to save his marriage, a source close to Farley claims that reconciliation is not an option.
“She was just unhappy, and she wasn’t in love with him anymore,” reveals the insider. “Roger has been trying everything he can to change her mind, but her mind is made up. She’s done.”
The source also says that the couple has had issues for a while, but her decision to return to reality TV had put some extra tension on the marriage.

Fans know Farley as a former wild child who settled down with Matthews to start a family, but the source says that JWoww has been in the “mom zone” for a while and she is ready to do something different. The former couple is the parents of Meilani, 4, and Greyson, 2.
The 32-year-old knows she is still young and wants to have a career while being a mom. Farley has realized she doesn’t have to do one or the other — she can do both. So, she has signed on to do two more seasons of Jersey Shore.
Over the weekend, Mathews posted a video on Instagram where he sobbed while admitting that Farley had filed for divorce. He said that he doesn’t blame her, and there was no cheating. Instead, they had fallen into a repetitive pattern, and she had grown tired of it. He did admit that things had gotten pretty bad.

But, the truck driver promised that he wasn’t done fighting, and he would win his wife back. Mathews said that he would win back her love and affection, and he had no intention of being a single dad. He added that the two were currently in counseling, so there is still hope.
In the video’s caption, Mathews wrote that he is praying for a better tomorrow. And, he apologized to the world because he was taking the day off from praying for them, and instead was praying for his family.
According to Radar Online, just one day before she filed for divorce, Farley hinted that her marriage was in trouble when she told the publication that her husband had an extremely busy schedule. She said that while she was filming Jersey Shore: Family Vacation in Las Vegas, Mathews did great taking care of the kids, even though he works 50 hours a week and goes to the gym.
Farley explained that her husband had stepped up his game, and that allowed her to work. But, she also claimed that he was in denial about Greyson’s developmental delay. She says that he wanted to wait until their son turned two before they got help, and she respected that decision.
JWoww sought help as soon as Mathews agreed to it, and Greyson is currently in therapy because of speech issues.
New episodes of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation air Thursday nights on MTV.
