After spending their first season in Miami, the cast of Jersey Shore has been filming season two of Family Vacation in Las Vegas, but it looks like they are ready to get out of the desert. Radar Online is reporting that they are heading back home to New Jersey, and for them, it can’t happen fast enough.
Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, and Vinny Guadagnino have not been living in a hotel on the Vegas strip, but instead have been filming in a rented, private house. Both Ortiz-Magro and DelVecchio both actually live in Las Vegas.
However, Deena Nicole Cortese recently wrote on social media that she had some personal issues come up at home, so she hasn’t been filming with the rest of the cast in Vegas. And, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola has not appeared in either season of the Jersey Shore reunion show.
But things haven’t gone smoothly for the popular reality stars – especially Ortiz-Magro – who has had issues with his baby mama, Jen Harley. They were all together at Planet Hollywood when Harley allegedly assaulted Ortiz-Magro and then fled the scene, so now cops are issuing a warrant for her arrest. The two have been fighting for weeks over their new daughter, Ariana Skye. The couple split right after their daughter’s birth and have been arguing ever since on social media.
To make matters worse, Ortiz-Magro found his beloved dog dead in the pool at his home.
Things ended up being so toxic in Las Vegas that they decided to stop shooting and head to Jersey. And, both Farley and Polizzi are ready to get back home. “They have all come so far, it is going to be really bittersweet!” says an insider.

They both flew out to Sin City on the fifth of June and started filming the next day. Now, after a week and a half, the crew is headed east, but, according to borough officials, they won’t be filming in Seaside Heights where they filmed the original show from 2009 to 2012.
The reboot has been incredibly successful for MTV, with the premiere of the first season drawing 10 million viewers. The final episode of Season 1 airs on Thursday, June 28th.
Season 2 of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation will return to MTV later this year.
