Jennifer Williams is feeling pretty good about herself these days. The businesswoman has many reasons to be upbeat.
Earlier this year, she made peace with an old friend, Evelyn Lozada, on VH1’s hit reality television show, Basketball Wives. Their feud had lasted close to five years.
Fans loved her return to the program, and many believe new opportunities will show up for her in the future because of this guest-appearance. And as the founder of Classy Girl Wardrobe, she is forging a new path forward as an entrepreneur.
Part of building a successful brand for Williams is keeping a strong presence on social media. The former reality star invites fans into her world in a very positive way.
For example, she recently got political by urging her followers to support DACA, a program that shields young undocumented immigrants from deportation.
She wrote: “If we remain silent, we’re a part of the problem. The decision today to rescind Daca was wrong. Call Congress & let them know we stand w/ Dreamers (202) 225-3121. #daca.”
Williams also paid respect to the 9/11 victims and their families, she stated: “9/11 remembering all the lives lost & the families affected by this terrible tragic event in American history.”
The TV personality went to Houston after Hurricane Harvey to help those affected by the natural disaster.
She shared the following note with her fans: “I can’t imagine losing everything. To be out here and listen to people’s story has truly been a moving experience. I am thankful to be able to help some of the families in need. Standing strong with you Houston!”
After this foray into serious matters, Williams later returned to post photos that showed she is on top of her game when it comes to fashion and style.
She decided to ditch her summer braids and in some pictures had her hair pulled back in a ponytail.
A few supporters did ask about the braids and said they missed them, but most commenters told her that the new look goes well with her features and she should keep it.
Williams has found her lane, and she seems to be enjoying the ride.
