It looks like not even the fact that E! was unable to find proof he is guilty will save the TV host from the public shame. We have learned that some celebrities are still determined to boycott Ryan Seacrest while at the Oscars on March 4 due to his sexual harassment scandal!
Is Jennifer Lawrence one of those stars shunning him at the awards show?
As he was interviewing the Hunger Games star, Howard Stern asked her: ‘Some actresses are saying they’ re not going to talk to Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet of the Oscars, [what about you?]’
Apparently, Lawrence was not even aware that his former stylist Suzie Hardy has accused Ryan of sexual misconduct.
‘I can’t imagine him being sexual,’ she said as Howard asked again if she would boycott, wanting to hear a clear answer.
‘Umm, I don’t know. I mean there’s a lot to think about with E!, you know?’
That is when Jennifer started talking more in detail about the network: ‘Uh, I’ve always had a problem with the Fashion Police. I do not have a problem with talking about what women are wearing. There was a time there where, they were just mean, about people’s bodies, things you should not say.’
Lawrence went on to also address the fact that Catt Sadler left E! due to pay inequality!
‘They are not bringing another co-star up. I’ve noticed they keep cycling these women and I’m going — that’s just so you, is that so you do not have to pay another woman equally to Jason [Kennedy]? Is this just a way to still maintaining that you’re not paying women equally?’ she said before finally returning to the topic at hand and answering the question about Ryan Seacrest.
‘I do not know about the Ryan Seacrest thing. I think it’s scary, you know. He hasn’t been to trial for anything. I’m not a judge. I’m not a jury, you know. I do not know, that’s where this stuff gets tricky. There are already outlets that I’m just like, ‘nahh,’ so it would not be that big of a deal’ if she did not talk to anybody anyway.
