Oh no! The actress and her daughter were on vacation when things took a not so fortunate turn. It looks like while in Sweden, having some mother-daughter quality time, Jennifer Garner and 12-year-old Violet got lost in a kayak.
Thankfully, the duo was rescued in the end, and nothing bad happened to them.
Garner posted a beautiful snap of the two of them paddling during sunset but the whole adventure was not as peaceful and stress-free.
In the caption, the star wrote: ‘On a pre-middle school sneakaway with my eldest… Did I get us lost in a kayak? Yes. Did we really paddle as hard as we could for 100 hours and then end up in a shipping lane? I’m afraid so. Did we have to be rescued? Yup.’
In the hashtags she added, Garner also mentioned that her daughter did not complain once.
It could have ended so horribly considering they were lost for such a long time!

It is very fascinating that Jennifer has an HBO show she is working on that is all about outdoor trips going bad.
The series is a comedy titled Camping and this misadventure with her daughter certainly sounds like a promo for the new show.
Later on, Jenifer also posted a pic of their savior, captioning it: ‘If you’ve seen my post today… This is Mattias! Our savior! Thank you.’
Garner had such a sweet trip in mind, taking her daughter on an adventure before starting middle school! What an amazing gesture!
Too bad the whole thing turned into a trauma inducing accident!
