According to ET, Jennifer Garner has received a document from the Los Angeles County Superior Court that informs her that the final judgment in her divorce case from Ben Affleck is yet to be filed. The court papers also supposedly claim this is her ‘third notice of case review.’
That being said, apparently, if the actress does not take action as soon as possible, the case might get dismissed by the court ‘for delay in prosecution.’
Garner might, therefore, need to refile for divorce and start all over with the legal process.
As you may be aware, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck announced their split back in 2015.
That being said, they are still legally married despite the actor currently dating Saturday Night Live producer Lindsay Shookus.
The divorce was filed back in April, but it looks like it is far from being finalized.
ET previously reported that Garner and Affleck filed ‘pro per’ with no legal representation.
The former actor pair also filed the petition and response together, mirroring each other perfectly.
In addition to that, it looks like there was no prenup in action and so, unless they reach a different agreement, they should be splitting everything they earned while being married equally, 50/50.
The good thing is that the Hollywood stars have at least managed to be great co-parents since ending their relationship due to the fact that they are still very friendly with each other.
The two share three kids together – 6 year old Samuel, 9 year old Seraphina and 12 year old Violet.
