Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston are officially split up. The couple – who got married back in August of 2015 – announced their separation via a statement as obtained by Us Weekly on the 15th of February. Aniston and Theroux stated they had to self-publish an authentic report for the sake of ending tabloid rumors and gossip.
The joint affidavit read, “this decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year.” However, despite deciding to split up, they hope to continue to be friends.
Aniston and Theroux stated they usually wouldn’t do such a thing publicly but because of the speculation and rumor abound in gossip tabloids, they had to reveal their relationship status to declare the truth.
The couple claimed information which comes from someone else’s mouth other than theirs is entirely speculative.
Celebrity Insider reported earlier the Friends alum and Theroux celebrated holidays independently of each other, notably, on the 11th of February when Jennifer celebrated her birthday without Theroux.
At her birthday which was attended by friends such as Courteney Cox and Aleen Keshishian, she turned 49-years-old. As you may know, the former couple started dating each other in May of 2011 and announced their engagement the following year in August of 2012.
In December of 2017, spectators spotted Theroux and Aniston on vacation in Mexico with Jason Bateman and Amanda Anka.
They last made their public appearance at Bateman’s induction ceremony for a star on the Hollywood Walk Of fame. The Associated Press was the first publication to report the news.
