Fans of the Hollywood world have been super disappointed following the recent revelation that Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan divorced after just eight years of marriage. For the first time since her breakup with The Hateful Eight star, Jenna appeared on the cover of VEGAS Magazine, and during the interview, she dished on what it was like to instantaneously connect with Channing back in 2005.
The judge from World Of Dance explained that she and Channing “started out as friends,” but there was an instant flash of passion and an acknowledgment of their potential synchronicity.
Dewan added that the first time they met, “it felt like we had known each other for many years.” Sources close to the couple told us,”it was such a good relationship while it lasted. I mean, eight years is a long time to be married nowadays.”
As for if they’ll continue to be friends, Jenna said she doesn’t have to worry about that, because they’ll always be cordial to one another.
“I think that will never change, no matter what,” the dancer added. And while many of their fans were sad to hear the news of their separation, some on social media were delighted.
One person wrote, “Channing is single right now! OMG, it’s time to move to Los Angeles!” Another person joked, “when I told my wife that Channing and Jenna got a divorce, she could barely hide the excitement in her face.”
It’s been a tough pill for some to swallow, including Ellen DeGeneres who made an obvious mistake when introducing Jenna on her show. Jenna made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and the host accidentally introduced her with her old “Tatum” name.
Following Ellen’s apology, Jenna said it wasn’t a big deal and she’s just happy to have so many supportive and loving fans. As you may know, Dewan and Channing’s divorce is supposed to get messy, as both stars will be fighting over a large sum of money as their respective careers are flourishing.
