Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has taken to social media once again to make shocking claims against producers from MTV, and this time she claims she is just a “prop” for the show and that they refuse to film anything she suggests and only want to show fights with her mother and custody disputes with her ex.
“So you ask whats boring about Teen Mom? What makes me a prop? All filming ideas are coming from my director or my mother. I’m just in the back nodding and hardly speaking like the robot I’ve turned into,” wrote Evans.
Evans brought up multiple filming suggestions she had made — Jace’s soccer game, Kaiser’s ear surgery, Ensley’s recent check-up, and Evan’s recent sinus surgery — that MTV refused to film.
Teen Mom fans were quick to point out that all of the suggestions Evans made would have been difficult to film around her husband, David Eason.
MTV fired Eason back in February for making homophobic and transphobic comments, for which he has never apologized. In fact, in recent social media posts, he has continued to spew homophobic hate.
Before Eason’s firing, fans had been petitioning for him to get the ax. However, many were curious about what would happen to Evans since she “liked” all of his homophobic tweets. Many fans demanded that she go, too.
There were reports that MTV put filming of the mother-of-three on hold after various incidents – including her decision to pose with a gun and post it on Twitter just hours after the Florida school shooting and her confession of using marijuana while pregnant with her daughter Ensley.
Evans may have kept her job, but she is refusing to back away from controversy. Even though she never once mentioned her love of guns before she and her husband found themselves in the middle of the gun debate because of a badly-timed gun picture, Evans has since doubled-down on her love of firearms by joining the NRA.
Not to mention the road rage incident when she pulled out a gun on a stranger before leaving the loaded gun in the car with her oldest son, Jace, without supervision.
New episodes of Teen Mom 2 — featuring the boring life of Jenelle Evans — will return to MTV in 2019.
