MTV’s Teen Mom 2 is always filled with drama, but the latest episode may have been the last straw for stars Jenelle Evans and her husband, David Eason. After the episode aired, Evans went on a social media rant and claimed that she was quitting the show if things don’t change.
Radar Online is reporting that Evans is furious over the way MTV showed an alleged fight between her and her husband.
The 25-year-old reality star posted on Instagram that she and Eason “have their ups and downs,” but the way the network portrayed their relationship in the most recent episode was “uncalled for.”
“Because David didn’t feel like explaining another argument or drama on camera they make it look as if David is hiding some weird a** sh*t from the public as if he were hurting me in some way?!” ranted Evans.
Yes, me and David have our ups and downs but yesterday’s episode was uncalled for. Because David didn’t feel like explaining another argument or drama on camera they make it look as if David is hiding some weird ass shit from the public as if he was hurting me in some way?! ? I have decided after this season I’m probably calling it quits for filming this show. I told Morgan it’s getting to out of hand and it’s not healthy for us anymore, just harming us mentally. They treat all of us as if we are in a freak show and in cages. WE aren’t human beings to @mtv what-so-ever. The first screenshot of the custody episode someone posted photoshopping a hand mark on my arm. The other screenshots are pictures I’ve taken myself from the same episode… and there aren’t any hand marks. Once they treat me with respect I’ll be back, if they don’t I’ll be happy with the life I’ve got. I told them this last night. #MarriedLife #MIA ?✌?
She went on to say that she contacted producer Morgan J. Freeman and told him that things were getting out of hand, the show wasn’t healthy for her relationship, and she would probably be leaving. Evans also complained about how MTV treats her, saying being on the show feels like she is in a cage at a freak show and she is not treated like a human being.
The mother of three finished her post by saying that the only way she will remain on the reality show is if she starts getting treated with respect.
During the most recent episode, producers received a text from Evans when the MTV crew showed up at her home, saying that she and Eason were fighting and crying and told the cameras to leave. In a second text, she threatened to call the police if the crew wasn’t gone in five minutes.
However, when the camera crew returned the next morning, Eason claimed the fight never happened, and Evans said nothing. Cameras then caught Eason grabbing Evan’s son Kaiser, while the little boy shouted, “feed me!”
The fact that MTV includes subtitles when Kaiser speaks angered Evans because she doesn’t think they are necessary despite the fact that he is in speech therapy. On her Instagram post, she included copies of text messages between her and Freeman, where she complained about the subtitles, and the producer responded by saying the show does its best to be accurate and honest.
According to Cafe Mom, the drama between Jenelle Evans and David Eason is so much they can’t even deal with it. The site wrote that the fight or non-fight was shady and then asked if fans should be worried.
Teen Mom 2 airs Monday nights on MTV.
