Jay Z is not keeping quiet about his mistake that almost ruined his marriage! The rapper opened up about his cheating scandal and told all about how much work he and Beyonce to put in order to save it.
Although Jay did not lose Bey, it was not easy to keep her by his side.
The star stopped by David Letterman‘s My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, and the host started by mentioning his own infidelity, encouraging Jay Z to also open up about his own experience.
‘I want to cry, I want to be open, I want to have the emotional tools that it takes to keep my family together. And, like you, I have a beautiful wife who’s understanding and knew that I am not the worst of what I have done. We did the difficult work of going to therapy, and we love each other. So, we really put in the work,’ he revealed.
The cheating was first discovered after Beyonce’s Lemonade album was released.
The singer had songs such as ‘Sorry’ that suggested not everything was perfect in her relationship with Jay Z.
Considering that for them music was a form of therapy as well, Jay also addressed his mistake on his 4:44 album.
‘This music that I am making now is a result of things that have happened already, and, like you, I like to believe that we are in a better place today but still working and communicating and growing. I am proud of the father and the husband that I am today because of all the work that was done,’ the rapper added.
Jay Z and Beyonce’s relationship is going great nowadays, and they are also getting ready to go on tour together with their kids!
