Jason Momoa played Khal Drogo – the warrior Dothraki leader – on Game of Thrones for just ten episodes back in 2011, but fans will never forget his arranged marriage to Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke). And, during a GOT reunion in Ireland this past weekend, the former on-screen husband and wife had a lot of fun together taking pictures and gushing about each other on social media.
In one pic that Momoa posted on Instagram, he put Clarke on his lap while sitting on an iron throne and he captioned the shot, “Moon of my life @emilia_clarke. Every time I leave you my face hurts from smiling too much. I f***ing love you forever. Aloha!”

The Hawaii native also wrote that he was grateful to be a part of Game of Thrones, which he called “the greatest show on Earth,” and it was an honor to be in Ireland to celebrate with his friends. But, he was just there for kisses, hugs, and Guinness.
Momoa is six feet four inches tall, which makes him more than a foot taller than the 31-year-old actress. But, that didn’t keep them from striking several silly poses together, including one where they appeared to attempt “the lift” from Dirty Dancing. But, he was seated and holding her at chest level.
Clarke captioned that picture on Instagram by writing that it is the closest Momoa will ever get her to attempting the famous movie scene that took place in a lake. And, because of his height, she wasn’t going to allow him to raise her above his head.
Crazy mad insane LOVE for this queen it’s truly like bubbles of giggles are in our bellies when we are together. It’s a shame we don’t get to see each other as much as we would like but when we do i feel like a fucking KHAL love u @emilia_clarke always forever Yer Jalan Atthirari Anni #getreadyhereicome #GOTohana #slaps mahalo @bullchinashope1_ for always taking care of me @cristian.bullinachinashop you make it a home away from home brother. Aloha Drogo
According to The Daily Mail, another actor who got in on the fun was Kit Harington, who plays former King of the North Jon Snow, and is also Daenerys’ lover.
Harrington took Clarke’s place, as Momoa cradled him in his arms while Harrington struck a dainty pose.
Fans will have a bit of wait for the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones, which HBO has announced will air in 2019.
As for Momoa, he will reprise his role of Declan Harp, a part-Irish, part-Cree outlaw in season three of the historical drama Frontier, which will begin streaming on Netflix and Discovery Canada this October. He will also return to the big screen later this year as Arthur Curry for the latest DC Films project Aquaman.
But, even though there is still six months before the movie’s premiere, Warner Bros. is already starting the promotional campaign, with Momoa appearing in full armor on the cover of the latest issue of The Newfoundland Herald.
It is the best look fans have gotten yet of Aquaman in full costume, and it appears to be similar to what he wore in Justice League, but there are a few changes. His new suit of armor is suited more for a warrior.
Jason Momoa’s Aquaman hits theaters on December 21st.
