The daughter took to social media to pay tribute to her late father. As you may know already, the Jackson family patriarch, Joe Jackson passed away last week and now, his daughter, Janet Jackson is remembering him.
The singer tweeted a throwback photo that showed her when she was just a child in her dad’s lap, posing together for a sweet family snap.
In fact, Janet shared the same photo not only on her Twitter account but also on Instagram and captioned it only with a heart emoji.
We’re sure that an actual message is hard to compose for the mourning celeb and so, the black and white photo was meant to say more than a thousand words could.
In fact, this is the first time since Joe passed that Janet is mourning publicly.
Reportedly, the woman was in attendance, among many other family members and close friends at Joe’s private memorial service when he was also buried on Monday.
The man was laid to rest at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Glendale, alongside his son, Michael Jackson who died on June 25, 2009.

As for Joe, the music manager, who was 89, reportedly died after losing the battle with terminal cancer.
Apparently, the doctors had already warned him and his family that there was nothing more they would do.
Therefore, Joe Jackson spent his very last week at a hospital in Las Vegas.
One of the first members of the family to share a tribute message was his granddaughter Paris Jackson who wrote a very sweet and emotional message alongside a pic of her holding his hand in the hospital.
