Some of the comments directed toward Jamie King while on the red carpet were mean and judgmental. However, Jamie is used to that kind of behavior in her Instagram feed. She stated, “It happens all of the time.”
The 38-year-old said to Us Weekly, at the Colgate Optic White Beauty Lab on the third of March in LA, that she suffers from endometriosis, the same illness endured by comedienne and writer Lena Dunham.
It’s a disorder of the reproductive organs. King also has polycystic ovary syndrome. The actress stated, “it affects and changes your hormones and the body.”
In the past, Jamie struggled with her weight on account of the disease, and at one point, she gained sixty pounds; people were continually pointing out her weight.
The mother of James, and Leo, 4, and 2, with her husband, Kyle Newman, refuses to let all of the trolls bring her down.
And while her illness is a battle, King isn’t easily penetrable when it comes to harsh criticism and sickness, as she has a loving family and husband to rely on. The actress revealed she plays Dungeons and Dragons with her family, as well as watching movies and reading.
According to the actress, her family is “really chill.” However, from time to time, she and the rest of her clan need to work on things. The 38-year-old stated it’s a lot of work to communicate with everyone and make sure things are going well.
She added that it’s better to figure things out before they escalate into something terrible. “It hurts too much to be fighting, to be separated or to be apart emotionally,” King added she and her husband are perfect partners when it comes to raising their children together.
