People have been throwing a lot of shade at Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka after she decided to change her Twitter bio. The first daughter deleted the part that used to say she is a women’s advocate. What’s up with that?
‘Wife, mother, sister, daughter. Entrepreneur and advocate for the education and empowerment of women and girls,’ the Twitter bio used to read.
Now, however, Ivanka changed the last part to show that she is more focused on the economy and the workforce rather than the rights of women.
‘Advisor to POTUS on job creation + economic empowerment, workforce development and entrepreneurship,’ the last part of her bio reads now that she tweaked it.
Considering the fact that Ivanka Trump is a huge influencer at the White House, the fact that she no longer publicly supports feminist causes is really not good for her.
Even if she changed the bio because of the Twitter character limit or something and she decided her job alongside her father is more important, changing it around the 2018 Women’s March weekend makes it a lot worse!
Not to mention, she didn’t join the march, nor did she acknowledge it in any way.
Of course, she never addressed Donald Trump’s sexual assault allegations by many women or his supposed affair with adult film star Stormy Daniels either.
Even though at this point, it is hard to think anyone is ever surprised when the first family does anything out of place, social media users still slammed her.
‘Ivanka’s feminism is as empty as her updated Twitter bio LOL,’ one tweet read.
Another citizen wondered: ‘Where were you during @womensmarch? You changed your Bio, do you no longer care for women’s rights?’
‘Glad to see you dropped bio description about women and girls. You were not doing anything for them except hiring them in your Chinese sweatshops,’ another user commented.
Many other kept tweeting at her and asking why she changed the bio, but the first daughter is yet to explain her decision.
