Donald Trump isn’t the only one who hates being the butt of a joke on Saturday Night Live. As you may know, SNL – as well as every other late night show out there – has frequently blasted Trump.
And Ivanka Trump apparently is just like her father, because according to Omarosa Manigault Newman, she hated being made fun of by Scarlett Johansson in the “Complicit” skit last year.
When Omarosa was promoting her new memoir, Unhinged, the former presidential aide released a part of the book where she explained how displeased Ivanka was when she found out Saturday Night Live had parodied her likeness.

As we embrace American entrepreneurship and new tech advancements, we recognize their direct impact on our economy + workforce. We must ensure our students + workers are adequately prepared for present + future employment opportunities in high-demand fields like AI, robotics and aerospace. #Pittsburgh #Pennsylvania #WorkforceDevelopment #STEM
In case you missed it, Scarlett acted as Ivanka, as she advertised a perfume called “Complicit,” implying that the daughter of the president was allowing Donald to implement horrible policies in the Trump family name, as well as in the name of the United States.
In the faux-ad, the narrator says, “Because she’s beautiful, she’s powerful, she’s…complicit.” According to Omarosa, Ivanka wouldn’t stop talking about the characterization, stating it was both ridiculous and offensive.
Omarosa claims Ivanka couldn’t stop talking about the joke at her expense, indicating that she, like her father, is “thin-skinned.” Newman said, she could “not seem to take a joke.”
When Ivanka appeared on CBS Sunday Morning, she offered her response to the ad, stating that she didn’t understand what they meant by “complicit,” considering she works every day as a “force for good.”
According to the politician, if being “complicit” means to “make a positive impact,” then she is, in fact, complicit. Ivanka should at least be happy she hasn’t been totally eviscerated in the same way that her father has been by Alec Baldwin, who regularly appears as Donald: a gloating, buffoon-like character, that is as ungraceful as he is incompetent.
