Ivanka Trump and Tiffany Trump both opted for the sharp color white for the inauguration of their father, Donald Trump. The entrepreneur once more stood out at the event, which took place in the Capitol earlier today. Ivanka Trump showed off her impressive physique in a white asymmetrical coat designed by the legendary Oscar de la Renta. Mrs. Trump also opted for white pants, black shoes, and a pair of diamond earrings that matched her American flag pin.
Today, Mrs. Trump needed the help of a few blonde extensions to have fuller and more luscious hair. As for the youngest Trump daughter who is dating a Democrat, she decided to recycle her eggshell white custom-made, double-breasted coat by Taoray Wang that she sported earlier in the day.
The daughter of Marla Maples completed her look with elegant pearls and off white gloves. It appears that she finally found a hairstylist to work for free because her locks looked flawless. Earlier this week, stylist Tricia Kelly came out to say that Tiffany and her mother contacted her asking for $300 hairstyles for free for the inauguration in return of “exposure.” She told them she does not work for free but for a fee.
The mother-daughter duo got upset by the response and had a friend send threatening text messages to the hairstylist. It is not known if it was planned, but Hillary Clinton also wore white to the inauguration.
Mrs. Clinton opted for a white pantsuit by Ralph Lauren. Clinton often wore white during the campaign as a nod to the suffragettes. In the early 20th century, the suffragettes, female activists fought for the right to vote in public elections – they wore white as a sign of purity, to protect them against the claims that they were immoral.
Having all three ladies, from different sides of the political spectrum in white was strong and symbolic. It appears that Republicans and Democrats can agree on fashion. Hopefully, they can find other common grounds.
