Issa Rae Dishes On The Time Tiffany Haddish Once Came Close To Slapping An “Insecure” Actor In The Face

Ms. Tiffany Haddish is at the top of her game in the Hollywood world, but along the way, she’s developed somewhat of a reputation for herself as an unpredictable character. And a new story from the creator of the series, Insecure, only shines a light on more of her idiosyncrasies.
When Issa sat down for an interview on the online series, Hot Ones, Rae shared a story about the Girls Trip star where Tiffany supposedly tried to hit one of her castmates in the face.
According to Rae, the actor she tried to backhand was Sarunas J. Jackson, who portrays Dro on the HBO production. Additionally, Jackson corroborated that story while speaking with reporters from Bossip.
Tiffany, according to Rae, said to Jackson, “You look like a n*gga that likes to get slapped. I’m a slap you,” after she allegedly demonstrated her oral sex skills with a champagne glass.
Jackson, who was obviously a bit embarrassed by the situation, revealed how it happened. According to Sarunas, Tiffany is a good friend of his, and one evening, she said to him, “I can tell you like to get your a*s beat, and I was like, ‘I’m Sarunas.'”
Check out the video below to see him explain it himself:
It seems like Tiffany just likes to joke around; she wasn’t actually trying to abuse her fellow co-star. As you may or may not know, Tiffany first garnered acclaim in her role on Girls Trip along with Jada Pinkett Smith.
Before that, she was just a comedienne, who worked alongside other comics like Tony Hinchcliffe and Brian Redban – the former producer of the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast.
During a recent interview on The Fighter and The Kid podcast, Tony told a story of how he invited her out to his comedy sketch show, Kill Tony, and Tiffany ignored his invitation.
However, he later found out that she was hosting the MTV Video Music Awards that very same night. Needless to say, she was busy doing other things.
