The exact day when Angelina Jolie was filing for divorce from Brad Pitt, when the team released the first promo clip for the Allied film where he is starring. The drama surrounding the artist and the media dragged Marion Cotillard into this story to such an extent that she had to publicly deny the fact that she was involved in any way with the actor or that she had anything to do with their break-up.
Currently, the divorce procedures are continuing, while Paramount has been going on with the release of the first full-length trailer officially launched for the spy thriller movie that is set during World War Two. The story will come to movie theaters on November 23.
One thing that seemed odd to the audience is the fact that this movie resembles a lot the one made by Pitt and Jolie back in 2005, called Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Everybody knows that the two stars fell in love while filming for this particular movie, and the plot of the next one to be released is quite similar. The movie shows the story of a couple where both the husband and the wife are expert assassins. As we see, it remains to be seen whether they are hiding secrets from each other and what exactly isn’t that they’re sharing.
The trailer opens up with a scene where Cotillard looks mesmerizing in a silk evening gown as she walks to an open door. Then Pitt shows up, who is dressed in a tuxedo and hands her a glass of champagne. Then an explosion takes place and the couple reveals some hidden machine guns which they use to assassinate a German ambassador and other people around him. Apparently, Brad Pitt plays the role of a secret intelligence officer, while Marion Cotillard is enrolled in the French resistance.
