Is Jill Zarin Gunning To Replace Carole Radziwill On ‘RHONY’?

There is some serious drama going on with the cast of Real Housewives of New York City. Last week, Carole Radziwill announced she was leaving the series, and Luann de Lesseps entered rehab for the second time after her December arrest for drunk and disorderly conduct and assault on an officer. Could this mean that former housewife Jill Zarin will be returning to the popular Bravo show?
According to E! News, Zarin does want to come back to RHONY, and now she has the time to do it. The 54-year-old left the cast after season four in 2011 but has made some brief appearances in the past two seasons.
During the current season 10, Zarin showed up with her former co-stars to attend the funeral of her late husband, Bobby Zarin, and this sparked rumors that she could be coming back to the show full-time.

“Somebody started a rumor that I was in talks with Bravo. That’s not true. That’s not true,” Zarin said last weekend at the sixth annual Luxury Luncheon in the Hamptons.
She did admit that she would like to come back to the show as a friend because she thinks de Lesseps needs her. In the past, she didn’t have the time to do the show because she was taking care of her husband. But now, she has a new boyfriend, Gary Brody, and various Real Housewives stars attended her luncheon.
Zarin says that Brody is good to talk to, and he doesn’t mind that she talks about Bobby, which she does all of the time.
Since she was still in treatment, de Lesseps did not attend the event — which was in honor of Zarin’s late husband — but she was recently able to avoid jail time by entering into a plea deal that gave her one year of probation.
“She texted me this morning, and she wished me good luck today, ’cause she’s always here,” Zarin said at her luncheon. “I think she missed one year and there was a really good reason. But she’s always here for me, and she was thinking of me this morning, which meant a lot.”
This past weekend, de Lesseps told fans on Instagram that she is “doing great,” and she will be performing her Countess and Friends cabaret show next month in Long Island and Atlantic City.

As for Radziwill, after announcing her departure from RHONY, she asked fans in an Instagram poll what they would do if they were in her situation. She wondered if they would follow their hearts or make their bank account a top priority.
She asked, “If you were doing something that was forcing you to do things that went against your own value system, would you walk away regardless of the pay? It’s a tough decision.”
Fans responded with an overwhelming 80 percent saying that they would walk away from something that went against their values. Radziwill agreed and said that is how she has felt this past year. However, she looks to be happy with her decision, as she was smiling big in the pic she posted with the poll.
Fans will have to wait and see if Jill Zarin makes a triumphant return for Season 11.
New episodes of Real Housewives of New York City air Wednesday night on Bravo.
