There’s breaking political news today, as new reports suggest that Hillary Clinton may be planning a 2020 presidential run. While her supporters praise the speculation, those who opposed her in 2016 are reacting in fear and even outrage. Fox News interrupted coverage regarding the Thai cave rescue in order to report on the latest speculation regarding Hillary Clinton’s possible 2020 run.
Others, like President Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., are making jokes implying that should Hillary Clinton run it would be an easy win for the president.
New York Times contributor Mike Goodwin wrote an opinion piece titled, “Is Hillary Clinton Secretly Planning to Run in 2020” that has sparked a firestorm of media frenzy.
The story is going viral and was a popular trend on Sunday, July 8, 2018. With the country smack dab in the middle of the 2016 election and the upcoming 2020 presidential race, many have firm views regarding which side of the political aisle they’re standing on.
There’s no question that Hillary Clinton’s heartbroken supporters hope the speculation is true, but many on the GOP side with Donald Trump Jr., who is essentially begging her to run.

Donald Trump Jr. isn’t the only celebrity or political figure hoping Clinton runs while thinking it will mean a clear and easy win for Trump.
Actor and outspoken Republican and President Trump supporter James Woods also responded to the news with gleeful excitement.

Woods, tweeted with a link to the Post’s article.
Woods’ tweet has also gone viral with more than 8,000 likes and 1,000 comments.
Paul Joseph Watson, who reports for Alex Jones, shared a similar tweet saying, “Please God, let this be true.”
Political strategist Chuck Callesto created and shared a poll asking the public to vote as to whether they believed Hillary had plans to run again.
While the story has been going viral, over 75% of voters said they don’t believe Hillary will run in 2020.
Others resumed past allegations that Hillary stole the Democratic nomination from Senator Bernie Sanders.
While speculation is currently on whether or not Hillary will run, there are many who hope that Senator Sanders will make another bid for the Oval Office in 2020.
