As it seems, Eminem has recently dropped from the Celebrity 100 list made by Forbes. Despite this “sad” news of his wealth dropping, Eminem is still one of the most successful artists at the moment.
Apparently some causes for this unpleasant situation for the famous rapper might be the fact that he did not release any album this year and also some bad performances. On his real name Marshall Matters III, Eminem’s net worth was not revealed for the June-to-June time period. However, you can still note that the financial total of the rapper declined under $30.5 million. This figure belongs in the Forbes top both to Britney Spears and Gisele Bundchen, who occupy the last place.
In the tour he made together with Rihanna, called the Monster Tour, which had six shows, both artists won around $5 million per gig. The few shows they held at the Metlife Stadium won them $12.4 million. Comparatively, this is a little bit better than what Beyonce and Jay Z won in their representation in the same place.
Needless to say, Eminem is currently one of the greatest recording artists worldwide. He is still the most bankable artist in the world even now, after 15 years from the release of the first main studio album. Moreover, ever since then he has sold 120 million singles and 115 million albums, and all this on a global level.
Back in 2002, Eminem ev en won an Oscar for Best Original Song for the movie he made, called 8 Mile. Sadly, after that there has been a 4.5 year gap between the releases of Relapse and Encore since he was consumed by his drug addictions. In June 2010, he made a great comeback with an album suggesting his personal battles through the name “Recovery”. However, rumors about his not-so-good finances started spreading since his last album, called “Marshall Matters LP 2”, which was released in 2013.
