Jill Zarin’s part-time involvement in Season 11 of the Real Housewives of New York has left many fans wondering if Bethenny Frankel is keeping her co-star from being on the show full-time.
Zarin and Frankel have a complicated friendship on the hit reality show. The two RHONY stars settled their beef last season after Zarin’s husband, Bobby, passed away. Inside sources, however, claim that Frankel still holds a grudge against her co-star.
“[Frankel] will just not let go of [her feud with Jill Zarin] and she doesn’t want [her] back on the show,” the insider dished.

There is little doubt that Frankel holds some sway with Bravo executives, but preventing them from giving someone full-time status is another matter. In fact, there is a perfectly good explanation as to why Zarin is not coming back as a full-time cast member – and it has nothing to do with Frankel.
According to Blasting News, Zarin previously revealed that she did not want to return to RHONY full-time. Even if Bravo offered her a full-time spot, Zarin said that she only wanted a limited role next season.
There is also the fact that Zarin and Frankel put aside their differences in Season 10.
During the season reunion, they both confessed that they reconciled at Bobby’s funeral and are on good terms. Zarin echoed those sentiments in a later interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live.
Zarin’s relationship with Frankel could have changed since then, but it probably would not have affected Bravo’s decision to bring her back part-time. Unfortunately, Zarin has not commented on the recent rumors about her status next season.
Until Zarin or Frankel breaks their silence, the rumors will likely continue to heat up.
The cast and crew are currently hard at work filing the new season of the Real Housewives of New York. Bravo has not announced an official premiere date, but the series is expected to return sometime next spring.
Bethenny Frankel has not commented on Jill Zarin’s return, but they have both been spotted filming separately.
