The Real Housewives of Atlanta star is sure to now stay away from telling any offensive jokes. We have learned that, during her upcoming press tour, Nene Leakes is set to be under close watch, so she won’t make her situation even worse.
According to one source on set, ‘Her reps and Bravo are executing a plan for damage control before the cast goes on their press tour this week to promote the new season. Nene agreed to speak out condemning sexual harassment and assault as well as domestic violence to influence and empower women. She informed the network she’ll show her regret for her harsh words with actions.’
In addition, her reps have also assured the network that Leakes will steer clear from any insensitive jokes such as the rape one she made during a recent show, as she is well aware such comments cause negative publicity that is damaging to her brand.
As fans of RHOA may remember, Leakes received a lot of backlash after telling a female heckler that she hopes she’d get raped by her Uber driver.
Soon after a video of her saying those things surfaced, the reality TV star got fired from Xscape reunion hosting gig.
What’s more, her Real Housewives of Atlanta also refused to shoot any more scenes with Nene.
