The shamed Glee actor has pled guilty to charges of child pornography. A few weeks before he did so, Mark Salling attempted to commit suicide. Now, the transcripts of the chilling 911 call his roommate made have been revealed. According to the authorities, the 35-year-old actor was still conscious and alert when his friend discovered him and made the life-saving call back in late August.
‘Are they alert where they can answer questions quickly and appropriately? Ok good. Watch the patient closely…If anything changes and they get worse before we get there, call us back,’ the emergency dispatcher tells the caller.
But despite the dispatcher’s attempts to calm the roommate, he still sounded quite worried as he asked how long it will take for them to arrive.
The actor ended up surviving his suicide attempt and, earlier in the month, had to return to court and take a plea deal for the charges.
As you may be aware no less than 50,000 pictures and videos featuring child pornography were found by the authorities during a late 2015 search of Salling’s house.
Now, the disgraced celeb faces up to two decades behind bars.
However, it is likely that he will end up serving only about 4 to 7 years in prison.
In addition, Mark Salling has also been ordered to pay $50,000 to every one of his victims.
