Hillary Swank, the Academy Award winner and Boy’s Don’t Cry alum, wrote on her social media recently that she “married the man of her dreams.” In case you missed it, Swank got married on the 18th of August, in what sources described as a “beautiful end-of-the-summer wedding.”
Hillary married the entrepreneur and businessman, Philip Schneider last weekend. On Sunday, she wrote, “it happened..my dream come true.” According to the Hollywood star, she married the man of her dreams “in the middle of an enchanting redwood grove” with all of her loved ones around, in addition to her “rescue,” Kai, as the ring bearer.
In an interview with Vogue Magazine, the star said she and her husband got married in a private community surrounded by 20,000 acres of conservation land.
Hillary wore an Elie Saab Couture dress, which, according to reports, took seven people and 150 hours to create, definitely a labor-intensive piece. The actress said that the ensemble was far beyond what she hoped for, and was as “timeless” as the redwood land she got married on.

Reportedly, Mariska Hargitay, most famous for her role on Law And Order: SVU, served as the maid of honor, while Schneider’s father was his best man.
Swank and Schneider actually got set up on a blind date in the past and later became engaged in 2016 while vacationing in Colorado. As fans of the Million Dollar Baby star know, she most recently starred in Trust, featured on the network, FX.
Previously, Swank was hitched for 10 years to Chad Lowe from 1997 until 2007. Hillary has long been a staple in the entertainment industry, but curiously, she’s been able to avoid the scrutiny of the public’s eye.
Despite earning two Academy Awards for Boy’s Don’t Cry and Million Dollar Baby – directed by Clint Eastwood, Hillary has managed to keep her life tightly knit and safely hid away from the media.
