Kandi Burruss, at one point, almost had her last straw on the set of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta. After last season’s reunion special, Kandi and her man, Todd Tucker, almost left the popular series according to a source as revealed by Us Weekly.
In an interview with the publication, she said they “had thought about throwing up the deuces and saying goodbye.”
The reality star revealed she thought about maybe going on to “work on my business.” However, executives at Bravo TV convinced Kandi how vital her role is on the show, so she decided to stay. As for her man, Todd, Burruss claimed he always has her back no matter what.
Happy birthday to my bestie @carmoncambrice!!!!! In this pic we both showed up that day not knowing that we were basically wearing the same outfit except I had on the dress version. We were looking like we planned it. It’s really a testament of how we’re in sync when we’re not even trying to be. I love you sis! Everybody give Carmon some bday love!!!!????
Additionally, Kandi stated she never spoke to Phaedra Parks again and didn’t plan on it either. Fans of the show will remember when Parks found herself caught in a lie after repeatedly saying something to Porsha Williams which turned out to be a fabrication.
When the journalist asked if they could “patch things up” she claimed it was simply not possible, “absolutely not,” Burruss emphatically stated.
As for the gossip surrounding Kenya Moore’s marriage, Burruss chose to stay on her side by not questioning the “legitimacy” of it like other women on the show.
As you may already know, other women on the production think the marriage was merely a facade. Kandi said she “side(s) with Kenya” on that situation because she “had so much drama over the years” regarding Moore’s choice of boyfriends.
Additionally, Kandi revealed that she is friends with almost every woman on the show except for Porsha Williams. It’s over between those two.
