Just a couple of hours before making his way to Tina Fey’s set on “Saturday Night Live,” the actor and comedian showed up to the Vulture Festival and admitted he “loves us all,” and there isn’t a “motherf***ing” thing anyone can do about it.
As it was previously reported, Morgan went through a terrible car accident four years ago with his longtime friend and collaborator, James McNair, dying in the incident. Two other men were injured as well.
However, the comic has moved on and is now starring in shows like, “The Last OG,” and formerly, “30 Rock.” Morgan said the accident he was involved in was terrible: “y’all seen it,” the actor remarked, and there “was no way” he was supposed to walk away from that. He got incredibly lucky.
The other night, when Morgan was watching his wife cook a meal, he stared at her and she said, “what are you looking at?” The comedian admitted, “My life, my future.”
During the accident, Morgan suffered a brain injury, and he “went through h*ll.” Despite getting seriously injured, Morgan said perhaps the most difficult part of the accident was “forgiving that f*cking driver.”
In a report from Rolling Stone, Kevin Roper had supposedly been awake for 28 hours and was driving twenty miles-an-hour over the speed limit when he crashed into them.
The man who caused the collision pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide as well as four counts of aggravated assault. However, he could avoid going to jail if he completes community service and a pre-trial intervention program.
The primary reason for Kevin Roper not going to jail is that, prior to the incident, he had no criminal record at all. And during an appearance on “Conan,” Morgan explained he was no longer mad at him, but all of his “white neighbors” still were.
