Carrie Underwood went on Instagram to share a picture of her son’s favorite item to play with, however, reports are claiming that the toy is just a bit strange.
The country singer, who recently fell down outside of her house and had to get many stitches in her face, welcomed her child along with husband Mike Fisher in 2015. The two have had an ecstatic homelife ever since, and they frequently share the love for each other on the ‘Gram.
Even though one would expect that her kid’s life would be filled with luxury items on account of their success, Underwood’s three-year-old knows how to enjoy the simple things too.
The singer revealed that her kid loves to play with a potato. Carrie wrote in an Instagram caption, “yes, it’s a potato.” Underwood explained that her little boy had been playing with the root vegetable for the last two days.
While some people think it’s weird, at least we have to respect the boy’s gravitation toward inexpensive toys. But, it’s not like Carrie couldn’t afford something just a little more extravagant.
Even though Isaiah’s affinity with carbohydrate-ridden and starch-filled vegetables may seem a bit peculiar, it turns out that many of her fans and followers have children with similar fetishes.
One user wrote in the comment section, “OMG! That’s so strange, my son literally has the same toy that he plays with. He loves playing with potatoes, it’s so weird!”
Another person claimed that their son, also, played with potatoes when they were small. “I think it’s cute. Imagination!”
And while the whole situation was cute, others on social media pointed out the irony of their children’s behavior. Families spend all of this money on special toys for them, and it turns out that they enjoy playing with something as simple as Tupperware or branches of a tree.
