As you may already know, Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller posted on social media yesterday from inside the prison where she’s currently serving her sentence. Her followers, who hadn’t been able to see any new pics of her since July when she started doing time, were surprised to see that the photo she shared featured a much thinner than they remembered Abby.
In addition, celebrity nutritionist Charlene Ciardiello, revealed that Abby has managed to drop between 95 and 100 pounds.
Sometimes in life you make mistakes I trusted the wrong people and didn’t pay any attention to things I should of. I’m more than sorry for the mistakes I have made. My world flipped upside down when I had to enter prison. I did so with grace, the stories you read about me been a princess are untrue. I have made friends with both inmates and staff, I’ve tried to better myself, participated in anything offered to me and I am a better person for this experience. All the press stories and speculation are not entirely correct however, I am feeling hopeful but no dates have been confirmed at this time. I am feeling great and ready to turn over a new leaf thank you so much to everyone for your support especially my nearest and dearest I love you all ❤️ ( and yes this is me in prison ) #abbyleemiller #abbylee #dancemoms #dance #aldc
If you were wondering how she did it, we have the details!
First of all, it looks like fitness or dancing had nothing to do with her weight loss.
One source at the facility where she is detained explained that ‘Abby is not exercising at all in jail. But she does eat very little. She stays holed up inside her cell and avoids going into public areas and engaging with other women. In fact, she’s rarely seen eating at all!’
But of course, starving yourself is never the answer. In fact, the real ‘secret’ to her transformation was the gastric bypass surgery she underwent prior to her sentencing back in April.
In addition, one photoshop expert assured us that the pic was ‘definitely altered.’
‘Her chin line qualifies her for her own cartoon series now. Assuming she’s really lost the weight, either she had plastic surgery during her incarceration, or someone edited the photo to remove all of the skin from her jowls, chin line, and upper neck.’
Maybe she wanted to show all of us a preview of how she’ll really look like by the time she gets out of prison?
