Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s roller coaster of a divorce has been raging on for almost two years. Although Jolie had the upper hand at first, Pitt recently won a huge victory when a judge gave him greater access to their 6 children. Rumor now has it that Jolie is furious about the ruling and worries that Pitt is closer than ever to winning joint custody. But what is really going on between Pitt and Jolie?
Jolie filed for divorce in the fall of 2016. At the time, Jolie claimed full physical custody of the brood while Pitt found himself embroiled in a child abuse scandal while fighting for joint custody. Child services and the FBI eventually cleared Pitt of the allegations, and he started to really turn his life around in December of that year.

The actor even opened up about his struggles with alcohol in an interview with GQ, basically admitting that the dissolution of his marriage was his fault.
Despite all the early drama, Pitt confessed that he and Jolie were trying to work things out as amicably as possible. Their divorce appeared like it was getting better and better as time passed, even though they couldn’t reach a custody agreement.
This past spring, the divorce battle took a turn for the worse when Jolie decided to take the kids to London to film Maleficent 2. According to E! Online, inside sources revealed that Pitt was not happy with the decision because he was in the middle filming a new project in Los Angeles. Taking the kids to London would interfere with his regular visitation schedule.
Fortunately for Pitt, a judge agreed that he deserves a right to see the kids and forced Jolie to agree to a new custody schedule.
“He is thrilled that the summer schedule for the kids is figured out and that he will be seeing them regularly,” an insider shared. “He feels this is a huge victory.”
Congratulations, Superior Court of Los Angeles County
The court's ruling in the case of Angelina Jolie vs. Brad Pitt has established both the right of a chlid to have UNIMPEDED access to his /her parents, and the punishment for a parent (like Jolie) who IMPEDES that access… pic.twitter.com/Y8mTA0krw4

As far as Jolie is concerned, sources say that the actress is actually okay with the court’s decision. Jolie is apparently tired of the ongoing drama and wants nothing more than to see Pitt develop a better relationship with his children.
That said, the new agreement does not mean that the divorce is on the verge of being finalized. In fact, the two are probably still a ways out before agreeing to a more permanent custody arrangement.
Brad Pitt has not commented on his ongoing battle with Angelina Jolie.
