Heather Locklear’s problems are continuing to get worse. The police will slap the former model with three new charges following her supposed attack on a police officer as well as an EMT in the beginning of 2018.
In a report from TMZ.com, the police hit her with additional charges on Thursday, August 30th, for one misdemeanor count of interfering with a law enforcement officer, as well as two counts of misdemeanor battery for attacking other emergency personnel.
In documents from the Ventura County Superior Court, as obtained by the entertainment news publication, Locklear attended a pre-trial hearing on Thursday.
As it was previously reported, the police arrested Locklear back in February of this year due to a physical altercation between her and her boyfriend while at her house in LA.
At the time, she was looking at felony domestic violence as well as battery on a police officer. Interestingly, the police chose to drop the charges in relation to her partner, and instead, hit her with five criminal counts regarding her interaction with the police and the EMT.
It’s possible the boyfriend of the Melrose Place alum chose not to press charges for the sake of avoiding extra complications in her already difficult situation.
Back in June, Locklear went to the hospital where medical professionals put her in the psychiatric unit for assaulting her mother and father. According to reports, the ex-model choked her dad and hit her mom.
However, following her exit from the institution, the star went to rehab on her own volition. As fans of the actress know, she was most famous for her roles in TJ Hooker and Dynasty in the 1980s, in addition to Melrose Place in the 1990’s.
Since then, Heather’s legend and infamy as one of the focal heartthrobs of the 1980’s and 1990’s have grown, despite her controversial past. Back in 2008, the police booked her on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. The authorities later dropped those charges.
