Camila Cabello had no choice but cancel her upcoming tour opening show for Taylor Swift due to extreme dehydration. Ironically, the decision was taken only a few hours after the singer thanked her loyal fans for asking if she gets ‘enough sleep and drinks enough water.’ That was some foreshadowing!
‘I really just want to thank my fans for sticking by me and my Camilizers for sticking by and loving me and caring for me and asking if I get enough sleep and drink enough water. I love you guys so much. This is for you – thank you.’
Today, Camila took to social media to tell her followers that ever since her Sunday night performance at the Billboard Music Awards, she has been in the hospital.
Now, she cannot perform in the opening of Taylor’s next tour date as she really needs to rest in order to recover.
‘After my performance at Billboard, I was feeling very sick and ended up in the hospital to get checked out. They ran many tests and everything’s fine, but the diagnosis was basically dehydration and I also have a low-grade fever – the doctors have told me I really have to get rest otherwise I won’t get better,’ the former Fifth Harmony member explained.
She went on to say that her performance in Seattle will no longer take place.
‘I’m so sorry to let you guys down and I promise I’ll make it up as soon as I can! I guess sometimes I just push myself too hard and I promise I am gonna take better care of myself.’
Finally, Camila made sure to thank all of her fans for supporting her and worrying about her condition.
